WOODLAND VIEW BRANDING
Logo, Brand Identity & Website Design
The Brief
Woodland View is a successful meat wholesaler to local businesses, but wanted to branch out and grow the business in the B2C market. They wanted to create boxes of carefully selected meat varieties for busy people, who care about where their meat comes from. They needed to tweak and position their brand to appeal to consumers, redesign their website and implement a shop, to fall in-line with the new strategy.
As it was a rebrand, we needed to be sympathetic to their current and long standing logo design, so their B2B customers could still recognise the brand. The 2 requests were to keep the yellow in some form and also the script font.

The Solution
Branding
The result was a logo which is reminiscent of the Woodland View name and location, with livestock under a tree eating the fresh grass. We kept the script font, the dark aesthetic and the yellow, but moved it to a secondary colour, so we could bring in a rich heritage gold for the logo icon.
Â
The look and feel of the new brand is very rustic yet premium with wooden texture paired with black and gold.

We rolled the brand identity out to all the touch points – business cards, product labels, poster design, social media, website and van graphics.
Website
We redesigned the entire site and built separate areas to distinguish between Woodland View's client base for trade business, and the meat boxes for residential customers, creating a user-friendly experience for all. We styled all pages on the new branding and created inspiring, compelling SEO-friendly copy for the website and also the meat boxes themselves.
Social Media
We took over Woodland View’s Facebook and started a new Instagram account at the end of September 2021, creating a cost effective strategy to raise awareness for the brand.

In January to increase followers and engagement we ran a competition campaign which saw the instagram account grow by 5x.
Vicky's tip: "Showing your staff in real life scenarios are always a winner on social. Video content is king and if you can consistently have some sort of competition this will work in your favour. The prize doesn't need to be huge, but it will encourage engagement and help the all important algorithm"
