DB Foods is a meat wholesaler, with a worldwide supply chain and a forward thinking approach to ethical business practices. They support thousands of independent butchers across the UK and when the pandemic hit, alot of the high street businesses were struggling. They decided to create a campaign to support this community, to help boost awareness and morale at a very difficult time. The campaign was suitably named ‘Support Your Local Butcher’ and needed a strong logo icon to put on support materials.

The campaign brand we created supports a bold contemporary look using a combination of complimentary fonts and has a natural aesthetic surrounded by leaves – which also gives the sense of a prestigious award. The logo was printed on eco compostable carrier bags, hamper boxes and on the back of the DB Foods articulated trucks.
Support your Local Butcher Xmas Campaign
Later that year the DB Foods team wanted to give their local butchers a Christmas gift to remember, in the form of a tshirt and a calendar – with handy reference dates on each month. They wanted a jovial tshirt they could wear for the festive period to help raise awareness for the campaign.
We worked with the DB Foods marketing team to create an eye-catching, fun Santa character and message – which was printed on black t-shirts and distributed to the butchers along with the calendars.
